Single-in-line test and monitoring pins on the perimeter of the adapter are numbered. The adapter utilizes 44-pin hinge-lid ZIF test socket from Yamaichi. The socket is replaceable without soldering. The adapter has a two-part construction. The bottom part with male pins and the footprint not larger than the package itself, base, replaces the package on the pads. The top part has matching, 500 mil high, female connector with footprint slightly smaller than the package. Additional bases, part number 44QFS31-SD, can be ordered at any time. |
